More than just a club
Training and coaching
We have an active training programme for all club members, in both the summer and winter months.
We are pleased to confirm the timings for the Ansty CC Winter Training and Coaching Programme for seniors, women and girls, juniors and Super 1s.
During the winter our men’s squad will train on Monday evenings, 20.00 – 22.00 hours, in the Main Sports Hall at the Warden Park School, Broad Street, Haywards Heath RH17 5DP for eight sessions from Monday 7th February to Monday 28th March 2022 .
Coaching sessions are led by Will Dorkings (Club Captain) and Jamie Parker with support from other senior players.

Women and Girls
Our women’s and girl’s squads will train on Sunday mornings 09.00 – 14.00 hours, also in the Main Sports Hall at the Warden Park School, Broad Street, Haywards Heath RH17 5DP. There are thirteen sessions starting on Sunday 16th January and running through to 10th April 2022, excluding 20th and 27th Feb (half term).
Timings are dependent on squads and age groups:
- Softball (Girls)
- Softball (Ladies)
- Junior new to Hard Ball
- Under 16 Hardball
- Ladies Development
- Ladies 1st XI
The coaching will be led by a team including Ellen Burt previously of the England Women’s Academy, and Sussex Women 1st XI, supported by Issy Peacock, and Sally Watling. All three are Level II coaches and represent Ansty Ladies 1st XI.

We are pleased to confirm the timings for the Junior Winter Coaching Programme.
Junior winter training takes places on Saturday afternoons 13.00 – 17.00 hours in the Main Sports Hall at the Warden Park School, Broad Street, Haywards Heath RH17 5DP. There are thirteen sessions starting on Saturday 15th January and running through to 9th April 2022, excluding 19th and 26th Feb (half term).
Timings are dependent on age groups:
- Under 9’s
- Under 10’s
- Under 12’s
- Under 13’s
- Under 14’s
- Under 15/16’s
Age is calculated as of 1 September 2021.
The coaching will be led by the team of age group mangers – Steve Kent, Barry Crouch, Dominic Blythe, George Manns, Iain Anderson, Jim Beynon, Domonic Mamoany, Rob Scott – working with Emily Spooner from the Sussex Cricket Foundation.

Our programme of cricket for young disabled cricketers has been running from 2nd October 2021 10.00 – 11.30 hours in Main Sports Hall at the Warden Park School, Broad Street, Haywards Heath RH17 5DP. These sessions will run to 9th April 2022, excluding 19th and 26th Feb (half term).
Our Super 1s coaching is delivered by Domonic Mamoany and Ronnie Donno.
Join Us for Training & Coaching
All members (juniors & seniors) are free to allocate their nominated training / coaching session without the need to sign up in advance. There is no charge for the session, the cost being covered as part of the annual subscription.
New members are welcome to come along!
