About Us

Located in the heart of Mid Sussex, Ansty Cricket Club has playing cricket on the Recreation Ground at Ansty since before the war.  The football club was established in 1958.  Ansty Sports Club was established in 2020 as the charitable successor to Ansty Sports and Social Club

Membership of Ansty Sports Club is great value for money and offers access to the clubhouse facilities as well as club events. We currently have over 400 members in the social section or one of the two constituent sports clubs – Cricket and Football. The Club also runs darts and snooker teams competing in local leagues throughout the Winter.

Events in the The Clubroom include Regular Quizzes, Music Nights and Comedy Nights, plus many social and fundraising events run by the sports sections.

The Clubroom Bar

The Clubroom provides a welcoming environment for members and their guests. The well stocked bar includes favourites such as Amstel, Cruzcampo, Moretti, Camden Pale Ale, Guinness, and Thatchers Haze cider on tap, plus a selection of bottled beers, wines, and spirits.

Membership

Social membership is available to anyone who just wishes to enjoy the benefits of reduced room hire rates, and priority access to selected club events held throughout the year.

Ansty Cricket Club is a thriving club with 4 Men’s Saturday XIs, Ladies XI, and a Junior Section for boys and girls from U8 to U18. The club also runs mini cricket under the ECB All Stars programme for 5 – 7yr olds.

Ansty Football Club play in the Mid Sussex League, fielding two senior sides.

Members (over 18) of the sports sections are automatically social members of the main club as part of their sports membership.
