Ansty Super 1s – Update

Over the Winter Since the end of last season the Ansty Super 1s have been training in the Sports Hall at Warden Park School under the supervision of coaches Dominic Mamoany and Ronnie Donno.  ‘Dom and Ron’  took on the disability cricket programme last Summer after the Club became one of the first in the country to secured Disability Cricket Champions Club and began to work with the Sussex Cricket Foundation on giving the members of the then Burgess Hill Super 1s the opportunity to play outdoors.  The Super 1s practice on the South Ground every Saturday morning throughout the Summer.

The project has gone so well that Ansty has achieved Super 1s recognition from Lords Taverners in its own right, with the group now fully assimilated into the Club by moving from Woodlands Meed School to Warden Park for its Winter sessions.  The Ansty Super 1s take part in the Club’s social programme and will be running their second skittles night in the Clubroom on Friday 4th March.
