Ansty Ladies lost their opening T20 Cup match against St Lawrence & Highland Court CC by 47 runs.

Having won the toss and fielded Ansty faced a total of 187 to win.
An unbroken stand of 92 by Frankie Angel (64*) and Ellen Burt (39*) saw the home side to 137-3.

Sophia Warne took 2-23 as the most successful of Ansty’s bowlers.
