Although all cricket at Ansty was cancelled this weekend our 2nd and 3rd XI’s took to the field at away matches.
Put into bat by Horsted Keynes we found scoring difficult on a damp pitch. At 67-9, Megan Janman and Evan Herbert put on an excellent partnership of 43 to see Ansty to a respectable but under par performance to reach 110. Megan then bowled well taking 4-8 to ensure the win for Ansty by 14 runs.

Our 3rd XI lost by 6 wickets, Steve Jarvis top scoring on 31 with Andrew Strong (26) in an opening partnership of 47, as we were all out for 112.
Tuners Hill knocked off the winning runs losing 4 wickets.
